Hello and I'd like to say welcome to those who have landed on this website by accident, links or searching for help and more information on how to manage and run an ecommerce website using the DotNetNuke Web Application Framework and the DnnSoft - Catalook ecommerce application.

I'm Nina Meiers and my website is eXtra Dimensions (XD) and I've been an avid user of DotNetNuke for since it's early days.  Since about April 2004, where I first saw the Catalook ecommerce program, I've watched it be developed into what I believe is a first class ecommerce module giving you more value for money than virtually any other module available for DotNetNuke.

It wasn't always so good though, but continuous ongoing committment from the team at http://www.dnnsoft.com has see this product evolve into a viable option, when you stack it up to other ecommerce applications out on the market.

But, it's not that straight forward to understand or keep up with, and the native language, being German has also seen it have some setbacks, and it's not even the prettiest application when you first turn it out of the box.

So why am I interested in it? Do I have some sort of commercial interest in the Catalook company??  No, I do not have any financial interest what so ever in Catalook, DnnSoft or any companies that are related to this product. I work independently and since I'm doing more Catalook work, it would help me to provide an environment where people could learn more about it, and of course my own clients too who use this application.

And if I'm going to provide something for my own clients who are selling products online, why not make it available for others!!  I have spoken with Susanne Koehler via email.  Susanne is keen to see her product supported  in a uniform location, in English, which is the majority of the Catalook audience, and I know the product pretty well and am active in setting up websites using Catalook as their choice for ecomerce.

Susanne is the developer behind the Catalook store product and has been very progressive in providing continuous updates on this product over the last 2 plus years and I felt that I could help improve my own skills, make it easier for newcomers to DotNetNuke and those wanting ecommerce but finding this whole project daunting.

For now, you can register once once to get access to the full 300 page manual online, in chapters which we will update and you will be notified on changes to the site which we have planned.

So if you're into the world of  Ecommerce for DotNetNuke, take a look at Catalook, and feel free to register to be kept informed as we add the forums and more features to the website.
