I'm having trouble with this. I want to add a coupon code which take 10% off final cart price when used. I have added the cat_pricesrules module but I can not to get it to work at all. I get an error message saying that "coupon code invalid". Any help with this would be hugly appriciated. I have been stuggeling with this for a while and I cant figure out what Im missing.

Did we ever get an answer to this - I have exactly the same problem. You'd think it would be simple to set up a cart price rule that says "If the total in the cart is > $500 take off 5%" and have it apply automatically at checkout time. It probably is, but the obscure way it's described in the manual is, as usual, impossible to interpret.

Can anyone advise simple, step-by-step instructions to achieve this?

We already setup the prices for the product. What we wish to do we want to show all prices based on user Roles. 
It showing all prices when we login based on role but not showing prices tag for each user if user not logged in.

Listing we wish:

Role1: $100
Role2: $50
All User: $150

We need to show all prices so we force user to register and make benefit.

Is that something we can configure?
