We experienced a problem with the store checkout only listing a creadit card expiry date up to 2012 or 2013 on our site at: http://www.interactivewebs.com.
We had a client contact us who was purchasing our DotNetNuke Email Module advising that they had a credit card number that went past 2013. We also noticed an old but incomplete thread on this site discussing this.
The solution we found was this:
Navigating to the "Your Cart" module. You can do this by login in as an admin (not host) and buying a product. When it takes you to the cart module...
Select Edit Skin from the module menu.
Grab the code there, and paste into notepad etc. And look to the code that looks like this.
    ListItem Value="09" Selected="True">2009
    ListItem Value="10">2010
    ListItem Value="11">2011
    ListItem Value="12">2012
    ListItem Value="13">2013
    ListItem Value="14">2014
    ListItem Value="15">2015
Make it look like this exactly for the update at this time.

This will give you a larger future expiry date.

David - great answer .. thanks for posting it here.. Now, did you find that answer alllll by yourself before or after we talked on the phone. :-D

Nice way to fix it up though - rather than ftp.

There are quite a few things you can do when you start exploring the 'view options' function of these modules.

I had the same problem and tried this solution but I could not save the edits as an administrator. I think you must be a host. I logged in as host and the host cannot checkout a cart. Catch 22. But the edit skin function shows the the file name and path of the file.

C:\Inetpub\1.egb3.com\DesktopModules\CATALooKStore\Skins\[name of the skin specified in Store Settings]\cart.ascx

This sort of solves the riddle as to why upgrading catalook did not update the dates. My skin was a custom skin. It is not affected by a Catalook update.

So armed with the name of the file I went to the server and edited the cart.ascx file.

I unlike many catalook users have access to the web server. If you do not have access, you should upgrade to a more recent version of Catalook and choose a catalook skin near the bottom of store settings.

If you have a custom skin and access to the web server:

    1. Open Explorer and go to the root of your website.
    2. Under [root]\DesktopModules\CATALooKStore\Skins\[name of your skin in store settings]\cart.ascx open cart.ascx with notepad or wordpad or an ASCII text editor.

    Search for lblCCStartYear
under this change the dates to relevent dates. First year value should be last two digits of this year, the text should be the same eg. 10  - 2010

Scroll down and do the same for LblCCYear
First year value should be last two digits of this year, the text should be the the full year eg. 10  - 2010

    Eg.

    ListItem Value="10"Selected="True">2010
    ListItem Value="11">2011
    ListItem Value="12">2012
    ListItem Value="13">2013
    ListItem Value="14">2014
    ListItem Value="15">2015

The only thing you have to change is the dates. Do not change anything else.

    Save it.

Go back to Store Settings and Clear Cache,

    You're good to go.
