When you add a item to the cart it does not recognise the quantity , for example if i put 5 football trophies in the quantity field it goes to the cart as 1 football trophy.

 

Any ideas?

Do you have anything showing in your log viewer?

I can see the problem - does it occur if you put the plain boring standard skin on?

It's interesting - I went to the cart page and was able to update the products to show 10 items, then, I went back to the product and added in 10 more and it worked.

could it be a cache setting or something? I am not sure but I do see there is an issue and I've not seen this happen before.

What happens if you set the store to go straight to cart and not show the cart details at the top of the module?
I can't actually replicate your problem locally but I haven't checked the fixes and updates to see if this was a bug in the first place.
